houndsteeth suits of all kinds come with a limited 1 year warranty. this warranty covers all repairs that might happen during normal wear and tear, and only excludes cases of severe misuse. examples of repairs covered under warranty include: teeth falling out, holes in the bodysuit, loose claws, etc.
houndsteeth bodysuits are intended to be fitted and therefore, tailoring and adjustments are also included in the 1 year warranty. if a suit is too lose or too snug, i will take it in or adjust it for free within the first year. the only exception to this is an extreme change in shape or weight, in which case i charge a discounted price (50/hr) to make the adjustments for you. i want the suit to fit well and comfortably, sometimes dtds are not perfectly accurate and i am more than happy to adjust something that might be a tiny bit off.
after warranty, repairs and adjustments cost 50/hr. most repairs (like the above examples) take an hour or two at most, so repairs are never particularly expensive.
shipping cost is your responsibility, though if we are attending the same con and i am given warning at least a week in advance, that can be avoided, as i can do at-con repairs. if a suit is shipped to me, it must be clean and laundered, if the suit is too dirty to work on, i will charge a cleaning fee based on time it took to clean the parts, or offer to return it first and have it sent back clean.
